Nothing special, RedUFO (as close, as i could) And Keffer decals

The keffer skin I don't know...somethings off just haven't been able to figure out what.
But everything looks good on the ufo. Everything looks positioned correctly.

About Keffer's Fury: Sorry for this mess, i have fixed it, i'll upload Fixed version soon.

Here they come! This time i've added one custom skin (my personal, if you want. Sorry about that, i couldn't hold myself  ).
And, sorry for quality of skins, especially for white tiger, his black markings pretty damn hard to draw, i did him as accurate as i could. As i promised, i'm uploading fixed Keffer's Fury

I'll get around to looking at those within the next couple of days hopefully, college just got rather busy all of a sudden

I will be going on vacation soon and will be offline for sometime.

I hope you don't mind me asking that, but why are you rushin' to make custom skins for ship if you can't fly 'em?

1. Because it is good practice for when the game and the final skins are ready (if they change from this one, if not then we will have a head start on everyone else
2. So we can see posted images of the new Starfury with our skins ideas.
3. Mabe, just mabe, we might get our skins into the game!!

Thanks, there is no hurry on replying about the pics.  Any feed back on the skins?  The "shine" can realy block out the artwork, is there anything that can be done on this end? (make the artwork darker or less transparent).  Anything else we can do to take time away from your important school work...

This is is the specular highlight and the decal map has no effect on it's brightness or color. However it's much less intense when it is in the actual engine. The pics were renders from blender internal real time renderer. Also the detail isn't really lost when you're close up to the model

I'll be taking a look at this soon...graduated from college finally! So I'll have more time to do IFH stuff.

There are Cars with wood sides and airplanes were once made of wood.
So lets see what it looks like so we all can see the greatness of my skin!    

Will hopefully have time to look at this weekend...been working on get a computer built, all the parts arrive today. The new computer will make it so I can capture videos of your skins in action in the game engine

On a side note: was going to try to get video of the decals but turns out I ended up getting a dead on arrival power supply for my new computer build...so I'm impatiently waiting for a new one so I can make some ifh videos of the engine and ships

Is all that blue from just the 4 small dots?? If it is could you post pics without the 4 small dots on the skins.

I think the Presidential Security Skin looks better with the top of the lower set of wings painted.  
I like how the Wood Skin turned out, very retro. 

But the question is still here - wood on a SPACE fighter!?

The skin is good, BUT if you want to keep up with reality, you CAN'T use it

It would be wood veneer, a thin coating, like paint.  It would not be replaceing the outer hull with wood it would just be a cover like paint.



Or I could just use Space Wood, It is stronger, lighter, cheeper than regular wood and can take a direct Photon Blast.
